Born in Palermo, he currently lives in Milan working on fashion photography, reportage, advertising and portraits for prestigious publications as Vogue, Elle, Harper’s Bazaar, G.Q. and Marie Claire. Gio has worked for important international brands like Buccellati, Louis Vuitton, Porsche and TAG Heuer. In 1997 he was chosen by William Livingston of National Geographic to appear in the documentary “The Italians” as one of the most successful protagonists of Italian style, along with Krizia and Pininfarina.
