Bruno Cingolani believes that creativity in the kitchen is expressed through the quality of the ingredients, the only way to enhance their natural excellence. Native from Senigallia (Marche region), he owns one of the best restaurants of classical cuisine in Alba, Piedmont, Italy.

 

His culinary is the fruit of the experience and good taste from Marche Region (its culture of pasta, sea and country food) mixed with the Piedmontese sensitivity (French rigor and techniques, culture of bovine meat, great wines and truffles. Bruno is an erudite cook who masters both classical techniques and raw ingredients. Talking about cooking with Bruno is always a pleasure; he always teaches you something new. The Fedegari brothers began working in the family business together in 1984. After more than 30 years of experience running these operations, their activities have been aimed at the growth and internationalization of the company founded by their father and uncle. Through the development of new products and the opening of facilities in those countries strategic for the the business, Giuseppe and Paolo have worked for the expansion of Fedegari Group. It has started at the end of the 90s when the Swiss operations have resumed manufacturing of serial production machines and components, followed a few years later by the companies in the US, Singapore and Germany.

Born in Palermo, he currently lives in Milan. In 1980 he began his photographic career as an official correspondent for the Paris-based Gamma agency.
An extremely versatile artist, he divides his professional activity between fashion photography, reportage, advertising and portraits. His photographs have appeared in prestigious Italian and foreign publications as Vogue, Elle, Harper’s Bazaar, G.Q. and Marie Claire and he has worked for important international brands like Buccellati, Louis Vuitton, Porsche and TAG Heuer. In 1997 he was chosen by William Livingston of National Geographic to appear in the documentary “The Italians” as one of the most successful protagonists of Italian style, along with Krizia and Pininfarina. He was awarded the UNESCO Prize in 1999 for his portrait work.

Born at the beginning of the century, in 1905, Ballabio is one of the most long-established Italian wineries and one of the oldest in the Oltrepò Pavese region. On these magic hills, Filippo mantains the tradition of producing wines that express and exalt the natural distinctiveness of Ballabio vineyards. His estate is located in the first hills of Casteggio "the ancient Clastidium" 20 km from Pavia and only 40 km from Milan, Italy. In keeping with its surroundings, it spreads out over a total of 80 km, 60 of which consists of “Ballabio Vineyards”, planted with the most noble cultivar in the area: Croatina, Merlot, Pinot Nero, Pinot Grigio, Chardonnay and partly with olive groves containing cultivar such as Leccino, Frantoio and Bianchera. The Balestrieri, Morone, Mairano, Campone and Tronconero vineyards cover the rest of the area. Ballabio acts as guardian of the traditions of its land, privileging the achievement of superb quality over quantity. Ballabio wines are the product of a close collaboration between Fedegari Group, the oenologist Carlo Casavecchia and Ballabio's agronomist and contain all the characteristics of the land and its roots.
